Communicating with the Teenage Brain

SJSH Parent Council will be hosting a free information session Tuesday, March 27! Join us in the SJSH cafeteria for a light dinner and keynote presentation on "Communicating with the Teenage Brain". The keynote will be presented by NPSC Mental Health Lead, Trish Tessier.

NPSC Student Summit a Huge Success

NPSC students and staff gathered at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall for the third annual Student Summit, focusing on collaboration, creativity, and technology-enabled learning. Attendees were treated to a keynote presentation from Derek Tangredi, director of Integrated Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics Education at Fair Chance Learning and SJSH student David Moore. Special thank you to all of our teachers and workshop facilitators for sharing your knowledge and leading us in this excellent day of learning!

Dr. Ungar is the founder and Director of the Resilience Research Centre and is Canada's Research Chair in Child, Family and Community Resilience. Join us April 26, 2018, for an engaging presentation to learn practical strategies for parents, caregivers, and educators to help young people of all ages heal, no matter a child’s emotional, psychological or behavioral problems.
