The two parishes in close proximity are St. Peter the Apostle and Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption.  Corpus Christi School is a feeder school and most of our graduating students attend our Catholic High School, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall.

At St. Hubert School, we strive to meet the individual needs of all students entrusted to our care within a nurturing Catholic learning environment.  Our goal is to provide all students with a high quality education rooted in our Catholic faith to prepare all students for lifelong learning.  We value the opportunities to work together with parents, parish and community partners for the goal of student achievement.   Our school currently has eleven regular classrooms along with a Learning Assistance Class.  Our team of approximately 25 professionals offer a variety of teaching strategies linked to the Ontario curriculum.  Our dedicated staff engages in professional development and initiatives linked to our School Improvement Plan and the Ministry of Education.

Starting in September 2011, St. Hubert School will be part of the Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten program which includes a classroom teacher and Early Childhood Educator working together to support student learning.  Our school is equipped with a variety of technologies including mobile labs (both Apple and PC), SMART Boards, iPads, Kurzweil and data projectors.  We have an active student body with many in school activities as well as out of school excursions and school sporting events. Recognizing the achievements of St. Hubert students is done on a monthly basis with a school-wide assembly and "Student of the Month" award ceremony with a monthly slide show of school events.

How We Live Our Catholic Faith

At St. Hubert School we strive to provide a safe learning environment rooted in our Catholic faith in which all students have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. We value and promote opportunities to join with our families and church in celebration of our faith.  We believe that Jesus' commandment to: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is the model of positive student behaviour.

We celebrate our Catholic faith on a monthly basis both at school and in our local parish.  These liturgical celebrations include both our local parish Priest as well as our Board Chaplain.   Parents/guardians are always welcome.  As part of our Board focus, we select a Faith Ambassador annually who participates in the planning and facilitation of liturgical celebrations both at the system and school level to guide and deepen the spiritual development of staff, students, parents/guardians and our school community.

Our Catholic faith is celebrated in a variety of ways including:

Monthly masses/para-liturgies, morning prayers, classroom liturgies and celebrations, food drives, Jump Rope for Heart and peer helpers.
